20, 2020) - James Edward Pezzullo, Sr., age 73, passed away on Thursday,
December 17, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Jim was born Aug.,
5, 1947 in Iron Mountain, son of the late Vincent and Jeanette (Pietrantonio)
Pezzullo. After graduating from Iron Mountain High School in 1965 he
attended Northern Michigan University. Jim served in the U.S. Army and
was a Vietnam War Veteran. He married Carol Grimes on July 15, 1967, in
Gladstone. A lifelong resident of the area, Jim started out working at
Systems Control in 1976 and eventually helped establish BOSS Snowplow
where he took a position as the first project manager. He finished his
40+ year career as a cost accountant at M.J. Electric, retiring this
past October. He was an avid pool player and placed as top shooter in
the Iron Mountain, Norway and Niagara pool leagues.
Along with
his wife, Carol, Jim is survived by his three children, Missi Pezzullo
of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Carrie (Mike) Malette of Ishpeming, and
James Pezzullo, Jr. of Kingsford; a brother, Greg (Judy) Pezzullo; two
sisters, Kathleen Pezzullo and Lisa (Michael) Reibsome; six
grandchildren, Krysta, Kaitlyn and Kiki Igo, Vandan Pezzullo, and Lily &
Samy Malette; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim is preceded in
death by a brother, Michael Pezzullo; a granddaughter, Karly Igo; and
his beloved dog, Chopper.
Due to COVID restrictions, services
will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a
special thank you to the Dialysis Team in Iron Mountain, Dr. Funtanilla
and P.A. Kelly Floriano, and the COVID ICU staff at Bellin Hospital in
Green Bay.
