19, 2020) - Denise A. Vicenzi, age 52, of Ishpeming, passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, at The Lighthouse of Ishpeming.
Denise was born June 22, 1968 in West Branch, Michigan, the daughter
of Dennis Vicenzi and the late Pauline "Polly" (Wilcox) Vicenzi. She
attended the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District, and was
employed at Trico Opportunities, Inc. in Kingsford for several years.
Denise loved music, and was a huge KISS, Davey Jones of The Monkees,
Michael Jackson, and Jon Bon Jovi fan. She was an avid fan of the Iron
Mountain Mountaineers, especially Lee Formolo, and Gabe Leonard, the
Detroit Red Wings, Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR, primarily race car
driver Tony Stewart. Denise enjoyed her collection of Barbie Dolls along
with life long friend Kathy Morin, being at camp, dancing, swimming,
bowling, watching the Golden Girls, and spending time with her family &
friends. She will be most remembered for her sweet soul, ability to
laugh, forgive, love big and purely, and for being a bright light and
special part in the life of everyone she met. An angel she will always
She is survived by her father, Dennis; a brother,
Christopher Vicenzi of Iron Mountain; a sister, Danielle Vicenzi of
Escanaba; nieces and nephews; Lexi, Jaden, Adrian, and Bella Vicenzi;
favorite uncle Paul Vicenzi of Ishpeming, and auntie Andrea McQuown of
Iron River, and other aunts, several cousins, and extended family
In addition to her mother, Denise was preceded in death
by her paternal grandparents, Andrew & Eda Vicenzi, and maternal
grandparents, Lyle & Vera Wilcox.
Services will be held at a
later date. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.

to Denise over the years.
