First National Bank & Trust is pleased to announce Stephen Alexa, Jr. has been appointed to the First National Bank & Trust Board of Directors. Mr. Alexa is the President and Chief Operations Officer at Champion, Inc. and Chairman of Gundlach Champion's Board of Directors. He previously served as president of Champion's National Ready Mix division and prior to that was a Senior Project Manager with GCI.

Mr. Alexa is a Trustee on the Michigan Laborer's Health and Welfare, Pension and Annuity trust funds. He is also active with Michigan's Associated General Contractors Association and is a director on AGC's Labor Relations Division.

Mr. Alexa has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He and his wife Chastity are graduates of North Dickinson High School, and were fortunate to be able to return to Dickinson County in 2004. He has two children, AJ and Masyn, also North Dickinson graduates, who are currently attending Michigan Technological University.
