(Tuesday - December 01, 2020) - Wayne O. Warner, age 72, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Monday, November 30, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls.

Wayne was born on July 10, 1948, in Wayne County, Michigan, son of the late Donald and Madeline (Degiorgio) Warner. He grew up in Birmingham. He was united in marriage to Stella Komar on February 14, 1985, in Detroit. Following marriage, they lived in Detroit, where he worked at U Haul rental for five years before moving to Iron Mountain in 1985. Wayne owned and operated Pro Kleen in Kingsford from 1985 until 2015. Wayne also owned and operated Smokey River Outfitters in Quinnesec for eight years, retiring in 2013.

Wayne enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting with the bow and rifle, fishing, golfing, country dancing, his speed boat, sailing; and was especially proud of his car collection and toured many car shows.

He will be missed by his family and numerous friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Stella Warner; one son, Ronald (Amy) Pratt of Iron Mountain; three daughters, Michelle (Jim) Cayer of Escanaba, Nicole (Chad) Wocelka of Crivitz and Jennifer (Rob) Knauf of Bark River; one brother, Donald (Jacky) Warner of Rochester Hills, Michigan; one sister, Dona (Larry) Ridenour of Oxford, Michigan, and their daughter, Laurie (Jeff) Vitale of Rochester Hills; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Wayne's wishes family and friends will gather on Friday, December 11, at 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain where a funeral procession will leave immediately and pass a few of Wayne's special places. The procession will end at his home on the eastside of Iron Mountain.
