(Friday - November 27, 2020) - Larry Lee Faught, age 77, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center.

Larry was born February 2, 1943, in Garrett, Indiana, son of the late Leon Leroy and Madeline (Wyler) Fought. Larry grew up in Angola, Indiana and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. He married Jeanine Bahr on December 2, 1965 in Chicago. They resided in Chicago for two months before moving to Angola, Indiana, where they resided for nine years and later moved to Powers in 1980 and finally making their home in Iron Mountain in 2006. Larry was employed by Engineer Machine Products in Escanaba for a few years and retired from there in 2003.

He loved fishing, hunting, camping, the outdoors, and especially the time spent with family,

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean; two sons, Jeff (Valorie) Faught of Sagola and Brian (Heather) Faught of Loretto; three daughters, Tina (Russ) McCracken of Hermansville, Stephanie (Raymond) Broeders of Norway and Shanda (Reid) Cmejla of Bark River; two brothers, Richard (Candy) Fought of North Webster, Indiana, and Robert (Belva) Fought of Wichita Falls, Texas; one sister, Karen Clause of Angola, Indiana; 23 grandchildren, 24, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Fought; one grandson, Mitchell Gagne; and one nephew, Benjamin Fought.

A celebration of Larry's life will be announced in the spring.
