(Wednesday - November 25, 2020) - Daniel Paul Paupore, age 69, of Kingsford, passed away Monday, November 23, at his home in Green Valley, Arizona.

Dan was born on February 18, 1951 in Kingsford, the son of the late John and Marion (Plante) Paupore. He graduated from Kingsford High School in 1969, and continued on to Northern Michigan University, graduating with a business degree in 1975. He went on to manage the family business alongside his brothers David and Mark, retiring in 2016.

Dan never met a stranger. He had a magnetic personality and brought joy and laughter to all of his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest, whether he was captaining his pontoon boat up to the tiki bar or soaking up the rays at their home in Green Valley, Arizona with a strawberry daiquiris in-hand.

Dan went to heaven peacefully after spending one glorious afternoon at their home in Arizona, his true heaven on earth.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Susan; sons Derek (Sarah) Paupore of Nashotah, Wisconsin and Scott (Paula) Conery of Vulcan; daughter Kelly (Dan) Cram of Kingsford; son-in-law Terry Skog of Norway; grandchildren Levi, Brandon and Nathan Paupore, Courteney Hosking, Riley Schuch, Geno Pellegrini, Cole (Brittany) Conery, Rachel Conery, Delaney Cram and Reagan Cram; great grandchildren Weslie Nichole; brothers Jeff (Lynn) Paupore, David Paupore and Mark (Kitty) Paupore; in-laws Cindy (Bob) Lofholm, Tom (Christine) Steeno, Mike (Nancy) Steeno and Greg (Tracey) Steeno; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his brother Jack Paupore; daughter Nichole Skog; and stepfather Donald LeClair.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in spring.

Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
