November 25, 2020) - Daniel Paul Paupore, age 69, of Kingsford, passed
away Monday, November 23, at his home in Green Valley, Arizona.
Dan was born on February 18, 1951 in Kingsford, the son of the late John
and Marion (Plante) Paupore. He graduated from Kingsford High School in
1969, and continued on to Northern Michigan University, graduating with
a business degree in 1975. He went on to manage the family business
alongside his brothers David and Mark, retiring in 2016.
Dan
never met a stranger. He had a magnetic personality and brought joy and
laughter to all of his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest,
whether he was captaining his pontoon boat up to the tiki bar or soaking
up the rays at their home in Green Valley, Arizona with a strawberry
daiquiris in-hand.
Dan went to heaven peacefully after spending
one glorious afternoon at their home in Arizona, his true heaven on
earth.
He is survived by the love of his life and best friend
Susan; sons Derek (Sarah) Paupore of Nashotah, Wisconsin and Scott
(Paula) Conery of Vulcan; daughter Kelly (Dan) Cram of Kingsford;
son-in-law Terry Skog of Norway; grandchildren Levi, Brandon and Nathan
Paupore, Courteney Hosking, Riley Schuch, Geno Pellegrini, Cole
(Brittany) Conery, Rachel Conery, Delaney Cram and Reagan Cram; great
grandchildren Weslie Nichole; brothers Jeff (Lynn) Paupore, David
Paupore and Mark (Kitty) Paupore; in-laws Cindy (Bob) Lofholm, Tom
(Christine) Steeno, Mike (Nancy) Steeno and Greg (Tracey) Steeno;
numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his
brother Jack Paupore; daughter Nichole Skog; and stepfather Donald
LeClair.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in
spring.
Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery. |
