November 18, 2020) - David J. Massicotte, 58, of Iron Mountain, passed
away on Tuesday, November 17, at UP Health System-Marquette.
David was born May 18, 1962, in Stambaugh, son of the late Leon and
Cynthia (Powell) Massicotte. He was a graduate of Kingsford High School,
class of 1980. After graduation he proudly served in the National Guard
for 6 years until his honorable discharge. David married Jennifer Hall
on August 28, 2007 in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on April
5, 2015. David worked at Grede Foundry for 20 years.
He enjoyed
ski jumping in his early years, camping, hunting, fishing, making maple
syrup, and especially the time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie (Gabe) Lewis and Valerie
Massicotte, both of Kingsford; three grandchildren, Ava Peters, Liam
Lewis and Avril Peterson; one sister-in-law, Susie Massicotte and
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Jennifer, David was preceded in
death by two brothers, Kurt and Kevin Massicotte.
In accordance
