(Tuesday - November 17, 2020) - Keith C. Granger, age 86, of Iron Mountain passed away Sunday, November 15, at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

Keith was born July 19, 1934, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Vincent and Edythe (Brynoff) Granger. He was a 1952 graduate of Iron Mountain High School and served during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. Keith married Genean Lindberg on March 7, 1970 in Iron Mountain and she preceded him in death on March 17, 2019. He was a salesman for Lorillard Tobacco for over 30 years, retiring in 1992. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of the Elks Club and Trinity United Methodist Church. Keith had a keen sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He helped out at Hammís Service Station and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at camp.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Granger of Marquette; his son, Erik (Michelle) Granger of Marquette; a brother, Terry (Gayle) Granger of Menominee; a sister, Judy Granger of Largo, Florida; sister-in-law, Myrtle Granger of Detroit; 3 grandchildren, Per Rahm, Mason Granger, and Carter Granger; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife of 49 years, Genean, Keith was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Darwin and Norman Granger and a sister, Joyce Spanheimer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, from 1:00 to 2:45 PM at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 will conduct military honors at 2:45 PM at the funeral home followed by a memorial service at 3:00. Rev. Geri Hamlen will officiate.
