Alessandrini re-elected Iron Mountain Mayor -
Blomquist becomes Mayor Pro-tem
(Monday - November 15, 2021) - Dale Alessandrini began his sixth term as Iron Mountain Mayor on Monday evening, after having again been selected for the office by the other members of the City Council.

The Mayoral election was the first item on the agenda, after the meeting was called to order by City Manager, Jordan Stanchina. Technically, the City did not have a mayor at the time, requiring that the meeting be called to order by the City Manager.

Following his election, Alessandrini called for nominations for Mayor Pro-tem. The Council selected Council Member Kyle Blomquist to fill the seat. Previously, the office of Mayor Pro-Tem had been held by former Council Member Bill Revord, who chose not to run in the last election cycle.

Mayor Alessandrini said that he will announce Council committee appointments at the next regular meeting.
