November 11, 2020) - Nathan D. Asplund, age 36, of Hermansville, passed
away on Tuesday, November 10, at UP Health System Marquette.
Nathan was born January 5, 1984 in Norway, the son of Darrel and Melodie
(Landis) Asplund. He graduated from North Central High School in 2002.
Nathan started working at a young age, but he found his calling
while driving truck for Pepsi in Hermansville for the past several
years.
Nathan enjoyed hunting, camping, kayaking, playing guitar,
drums and listening to music; watching sports, especially the MSU
Spartans and the Packers. He loved spending time with his children,
family and friends.
Nathan is survived by his significant other
Stephanie Lauscher; sons Hunter and Rylan Asplund; daughter Andrea
Lauscher; parents Darrel and Melodie Asplund of Hermansville; brother
Jared (Teaha Felter) Asplund of Powers; niece Abigail Asplund; aunts and
uncles Darleen Olivares of Cunard, Sherry and John Legault of Engadine,
Steven and Jacky Landis of Wheatfield, IN and Cheri Lake of Escanaba;
many cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his
paternal grandparents Alfred and Marigold Asplund; maternal grandparents
Jacob and Audrey Landis; uncles Larry Olivares and Mark Landis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 11:00 AM until
1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Hermansville. Due to
Covid-19 health concerns, masks and social distancing will be required
in the church.
Private Family funeral services will be held at
the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Gagne presiding.
Interment will follow at the Meyer Township Cemetery in
Hermansville. |
