- Kim J. Miller, age 64, of Kingsford, passed away on November 5, at
his home in Kingsford surrounded by his family after battling
Kim was born May 22, 1957 in Iron Mountain to the late Norman and Jeanette Miller. Kim had a great love for the Upper Peninsula. He grew up enjoying all that it had to offer and never wanted to leave. In 1990 he found the love of his life, Helen (Heidi) Miller and moved to Kingsford. They married on April 20, 1990 in Iron Mountain and over the years raised two wonderful children. Kim was a dedicated worker and was employed at R.C. Company as a welder and at Aspen Lumber as a maintenance man. Kim was a jack-of-all-trades. When something broke everyone came running to take advantage of his special talents. He loved to cook, be in his garage, and spend time up at his camp. He passed many happy hours there with friends and family cooking, hunting, fishing, and having huge bonfires. Most importantly, he was an amazing Dad, husband, and friend - so full of life and laughs and jokes.
Kim is survived by his wife, Helen; two children, Lacie and Nickolas; and a sister, Norma Lindstrom, all of Kingsford.
A visitation for Kim will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
