03, 2020) - Robert C. "Bob" Beauchamp, age 86, of Niagara, passed away
on Sunday, November 1, at his home with family by his side.
Bob
was born June 27, 1934 in Niagara, son of the late Lawrence and Irene (Eckholm)
Beauchamp. He graduated from Niagara High School in 1953 and was a
lifelong resident of the area. Following graduation, Bob enlisted in the
United States Army and proudly served his country. Bob married Barbara
Broullire on October 3, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aurora.
He was employed 44 years at the Niagara Paper Mill, first as a stockman
and then on the outside crew, retiring in 1996. Bob was a member of the
Cretton-Tutas American Legion Post #136 and St. Anthony Catholic Church
where he served as an usher and counted the collection funds for many
years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time at the family
cabin, hunting, fishing, shooting trap and camping.
Bob is
survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara; three children, David (Kathy)
Beauchamp of Niagara, Diane (Paul Mattson) Beauchamp of Twin Lakes,
Michigan, and Daniel (Christine) Beauchamp of Niagara; a brother,
Richard (Ellen) Beauchamp of Sussex, Wisconsin; four grandchildren,
Danielle (Tyler) Steczynski, Lindsey (Eric) O'Connell, Ashley (Marcus)
Campbell and Rebecca (Jacob) Beauchamp; his first great grandchild on
the way in April; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William (Karen) Broullire of Aurora, Jeannette Sementilli of Kingsford, Alice Kallenbach
of Iron Mountain, Marie Windell of Aurora, Eileen (Bruce) LaLiberte of
Niagara, Raymond (Barbara) Broullire of Iron Mountain, and Gerard
(Paula) Broullire of Niagara; and many nieces and nephews.
In
addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister-in-law,
Emelie Zimmerman and three brothers-in-law, Delbert Kallenbach, Glenn
Windell & Joe Sementilli.
A private family memorial mass will be
held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara with Fr. Michael Lightner
officiating. Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery.
In lieu of
flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
