Donna Mae Winters, age 78, of Norway, passed away on Monday, October 19,
at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
Donna was born on
September 14, 1942 in Norway, the daughter of the late Frederick and
Winifred (Hosking) Rozine. She graduated from Norway High School in 1961
and moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where she stayed until her daughter
was born. She moved back to Norway in 1968. She worked at Freeman's
Nursing Home as a nurse's aide for over 40 years, retiring in 2008.
Donna was an avid sports fan, watching the Packers and Vikings, she
enjoyed going to the casino with her daughter on bus trips and spending
time with family and friends.
Donna is survived by her daughter
Michelle Winters of Norway; brother Edward (Rita) Rozine of Vulcan; and
several nieces and nephews.
Family will greet friends on
Thursday, October 29 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at St. Barbara's Church in
Vulcan.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30
AM at St. Barbara's Church with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis officiating.
Interment will follow at the Norway Township Cemetery.
