(Thursday - October 08, 2020) - Joyce S. "Lolly" Vanderzeyden, age 86, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, at ManorCare Health Care Services in Kingsford.

Joyce was born February 16, 1934, in Stephenson, Michigan, daughter of the late William and Alice (Larson) Swanson. On July 25, 1981, at Fumee Creek Park in Quinnesec, Joyce was united in marriage to Cornelis "Dutch" Vanderzeyden. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Anderson Memorial Hospital in Norway, and later for the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, until she retired in 1984.

Joyce enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, and especially the time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Dutch; four sons, William (Trish) Kelly of Florence, Mike (Wanda) Kelly of Appleton, Greg Kelly of Vulcan, and Tom (Barb) Kelly of Waucedah; two daughters, Patricia Faull of Norway and Debbie Lorenzoni of Pembine; Dutch's son Cornelis Albert (Maririonette) Vanderzeyden of McMinnville, Tennessee; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Johnny and Jimmy Swanson and four sisters, Gladys Engl, Doris Kenny, Lois Peterson, and Inez Klatt.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Pembine Cemetery in Pembine.
