(Thursday - October 08, 2020) - Gary L Barribeau "Tarp", age 86 passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Tidewell Hospice Facility in Bradenton, FL.

Gary was born on September 28,1934 in Hermansville, the son of the late Harvey and Irene (Ayotte) Barribeau.

Gary grew up in Hermansville, and shortly after graduating from high school, he married his high school sweetheart Dorothy Stockero on February 13, 1954 in St. Mary's Church in Hermansville.

They moved to Milwaukee, WI where Gary took a job with St. Regis Paper Company.

In 1964 Gary moved his family to Port Washington, WI where they purchased the D&G Super Club where they created so many memories for family and friends. Over the years Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and watch his Green Bay Packers along with spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by wife of 66 years Dorothy Barribeau; daughter Cheryl (Troy) Clary of Bradenton, FL, son Gary Jr. (Jackie) Barribeau of Three Lakes, WI, and daughter Karen (Greg) Wainscott of Bradenton, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Ronald, Harland, Gordon, and Joe Barribeau.

Gary was proceeded in death by both his parent Harvey and Irene Barribeau and his brother Lloyd Barribeau.

Family will greet friends on Saturday November 7th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.

A graveyard service will immediately follow at the Meyer Township Cemetery in Hermansville, after which there will be a celebration of life at the Knight Owl in Norway.
