(Tuesday - October 06, 2020) - Joseph Scott "Stubby" Stanchina, age 38, of Norway, passed away on Sunday, October 4, of natural causes, at his home in Norway.

Joe was born on August 12, 1982 in Norway, the son of James and Renee (Samborski) Stanchina.

Joe graduated from Norway High School in 2001 and continued his education at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

He always enjoyed helping whomever and whenever he could, if it was a friend pouring concrete, small construction projects, helping his father cut wood and trees at camp or helping his brothers whenever he could.

Joe was a hard worker and you always knew when he was around to lighten up a quiet room.

He loved college football and was always willing to give you his two-cents.

Joe loved his nieces and nephews, cheered them on, and always found time to reach out to them. He was more than Stubby, he was a son, a brother, and an uncle, he will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his parents Jim and Renee Stanchina of Norway; brothers James (Amy) and Jeremy (Trisha) Stanchina; nieces Kali and Kara; nephews Tristan, Rocco, Emmitt and Emil; paternal grandmother Francella Stanchina; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Phyllis and John Falagario and paternal grandfather Emil "Junior" Stanchina.
