Margaret C. "Marge" Herman, age 94, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday,
Sept. 30, at home surrounded by her loving family. Marge was born March
19, 1926, in Warden, Montana, the daughter of Leonard and Elsie (Pepper)
Haas. She married Alden "Buck" Herman on Sept. 28,1943, and they enjoyed
63 years together until his death in 2006.
Marge was an active
member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed collecting
antiques, golfing at Oak Crest, and watching and shopping on QVC.
She is survived by her sons, Craig (Kelli) King-Herman of Green Bay
and David (Stacy) Herman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law,
Mary Herman; four grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Covelli, Andrea (John)
Krinke, Matthew Herman and Jaxon Herman; and six great-grandchildren,
Crystal, Roman, Ryan, Kara, Brody and Josie.
In addition to her
parents and husband Buck, Marge was preceded in death by a son, Joseph
Herman; four sisters, Eunice Kofford, Pearl Whittman, Frances Carroll,
and Lois Enderly; and one brother, Art Foster.
Visitation will be
held from 3:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday, October 2, at the
Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services
will be 10:30 AM on Saturday at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home
with Fr. Timothy Brandt officiating. Burial will be in the
Homestead-Aurora Cemetery.
