(September 01, 2020) - John Eric "Chubby" Aberle, age 53, of Denmark, Wisconsin, formerly of Kingsford, passed
away on Saturday, August 29th. John lost his valiant battle with
pancreatic cancer surrounded by family and friends while at his Pembine,
camp.
John was well known for his sense of humor, candid opinions
and outgoing personality. Even as he fought cancer, he retained his
sense of humor and optimism. His generous spirit and love for his family
was a constant, and his larger than life persona and laughter will be
sorely missed.
John was born on January 5, 1967 to John and Ann
Darlene (Brogan) Aberle at Chincoteague, Virginia. He attended Florence
High School where he met the love of his life Lora Lee (Payette).
Because sometimes life doesn't run smoothly, they first married on
September 9, 1986 and re-wed on November 5, 2005 for a total of 32
years.
He treasured his family and worked hard to support them.
Over the years John worked a variety of jobs, eventually starting Lora
Lee Trucking. He worked as an owner operator for more than a decade.
John's survivors include his wife Lora; children, Lisa Sleeter of
Wisconsin, Bryan (Molly) Aberle of Escanaba, Sara (Travis) Pietsch of
Orlando, Florida, and Kaitlyn Aberle of Denmark, Wisconsin; four
grandchildren; his mother Darlene Peters; brother Jeffrey (Joe)
Aberle-Rouch of Gaithersburg, Maryland and half siblings Sam Aberle of
Gulf Breeze, Florida and Lauren Aberle of Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was
preceded in death by his father John, and his stepfather Michael Peters.
Per his request, a celebration of his life will be held, on Sunday,
September 6th beginning at 3:00 PM at Tranquil Vista Campground, N16151
Town Corner Rd. Pembine, WI, 5416
