(July 11, 2020) - Stevie “Stoops” L. Seaver,
age 30, of Virginia, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday,
July 9.
Stevie was born September 18, 1989, in Port Washington,
Wisconsin, son of John and Kandee (Collins) Seaver Jr. He grew up in
Kingsford and was a graduate of Kingsford High School, class of 2009,
where he excelled in woodworking and the building trades. He worked for
Sagola Hardwoods and later moved to Wausau where he worked as a
machinist. Stevie attended school in Wausau, where he received a
correctional degree. He moved to Oklahoma and worked for the State
Penitentiary for a short time before moving to Minnesota.
Stevie
enjoyed many hobbies which included playing old country music on his
bass guitar, fishing, camping, canoeing, his cat Idgie, the outdoors,
and especially the trips he took with his family to visit his
grandparents in Grafton,
He is survived by his parents, John and
Kandee; maternal grandmother, Dawn Collins of Niagara; one son, Joseph
Weiss; one brother, John (Rachel) Seaver III of Olathe, Kansas; two
sisters, Stephanie (David) Beaudoin of Kingsford, and twin sister,
Shanyn (Dustin) Miller of Sagola; three nephews, Bryson, Jackson and
Walker; and three nieces, Aubryna, Eve and Gwen.
Stevie was
preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Jude Seaver;
and maternal grandfather, John Collins.
Visitation will be held
on Thursday moring July 16, from 9:00 until 11:00 at the Jacobs Funeral
Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning
at 11:00 at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Michael Lightner will officiate.
Burial will be in Athelstane Cemetery in Athelstane, Wisconsin, next to
his grandparents.
