(Thursday - March 04, 2021) - Francis W. Antonissen, age 69, of Niagara, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, at his residence.

Francis was born September 16, 1951, in Norway, son of the late Francis L. and Doris (Boullion) Antonissen. He was a lifelong resident of Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School, class of 1970. He worked for the City of Niagara in the Public Works Department and was a self-employed logger for many years. Francis later went to work for LR Vincent Trucking Company for a short time.

He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, taking flying lessons, and it was his dream to own his own plane as flying really made him happy.

Survivors include his girlfriend and companion, Sara Miller of Iron Mountain; one son, Brian Antonissen of Amberg; three daughters, Amy (Glen) Hunter of Norway, Carrie Ann, and Jennifer Antonissen of Wallace, Michigan; two brothers, Steve (Lou) Antonissen of Washington State, and Carl Antonissen of Niagara; one sister, Linda Gordon of Niagara; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel in Niagara. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Lonnie Wilson will officiate.
