(Tuesday - January 12, 2021) - Walter F. Klima Jr., age 78, of Crystal Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 3, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls.

Walter was born February 27, 1942, in Chicago, son of the late Walter F. Sr. and Patricia (King) Klima. He graduated from Alpha High School, class of 1959. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1961. Walter worked for International Harvester, Mutligraph Corporation, and then in construction before managing the Gas Store and finally owning Wally's Liquor and Party Store.

He enjoyed watching the local sporting events and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Walter "Tank" L. (Debbie) Klima, DePere of Wisconsin; one daughter, Nicole Klima of Howard, Wisconsin; two granddaughters, Samantha and Kelsey; sister-in-law, Sharon Klima, Alpha, Mich; two nephews, Robert Klima Jr. and Brian Klima; two nieces, Brenda Thoe and Madea Klima; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Klima.

In accordance with Walter's wishes, private family services will be held.
