06, 2021) - Mary A. Trecartin, age 80, of Breitung Township, passed away
on Monday, January 4, at her home.
Mary was born June 29, 1940 in
Iron Mountain, daughter of the late John and Viola (Moln) Gasparach. She
attended school in Iron Mountain and was a lifelong resident of the
area. She married Richard Trecartin on April 7, 1956 at American Martyrs
Catholic Church in Kingsford. Mary was an avid gardener and grew
beautiful begonias and delicious tomatoes. She also enjoyed feeding &
watching her hummingbirds.
She is survived by her husband of 64
years, Richard; her children, Robert (Nanette) Trecartin of Quinnesec
and Linda Holmes of Iron Mountain; a brother, John Gasparach; a sister,
Judy (Dan) Schumacher; five grandchildren, Erica (Nick) Malachowski,
Angela (Carl) Oslund, Richard and Mike Campioni and Craig (Sierra)
Holmes; and three great-grandchildren, Kurtis and Emily St. Vincent, and
Isaac Malachowski.
Mary was preceded in death by a daughter,
Evelyn Campioni and a grandson, Stephen Campioni, Jr.
Private
family services will be held at a later date.
