(Iron Mountain - December 30, 2017) - Michigan State Police reported two deaths as the result of a head-on crash that occurred shortly after 10:00 on Saturday morning, on Highway M-95, near the Marquette / Dickinson County line.

Officers said the fatalities occurred when the car in which two teens from Kingsford were riding was traveling North on M-95.  The vehicle apparently went out of control and crossed the center line, into the path of a Southbound vehicle.

Pronounced dead at the scene were 18-year-old Taylor Bosley and 17-year-old Jolene Treml, both of Kingsford.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a 46-year-old male and his 40-year-old wife, along with their two children, were taken to Duke Lifepoint Marquette General for treatment of their injuries. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

State police reported that all involved were apparently wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.

Excessive speed and poor driving conditions are believed to have been factors in the crash.
