(Norway - December 29, 2017) - Beverly Rossato, age 86, of Loretto, died
Friday, December 29, 2017 at her home in Loretto, surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 25, 1931 in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late
Howard and Emma (Carbonelli) Harris.
Beverly graduated from Iron Mountain
High School in 1951.
She married Bernard Rossato on September 12, 1952
in St. Mary St. Joseph Church in Iron Mountain.
Beverly along with her
husband owned and operated Z and R Electric, where she did all the bookwork for
over 25 years.
She was a member of St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan,
enjoyed cooking, baking, canning jams and jellies. She had a love of cookbooks
and was always looking for new recipes.
Beverly loved her family and
enjoyed spending time with them, she will be missed.
Beverly is survived
by her husband of 65 years Bernard; daughters Denice (Jerry) Miller of
Wausaukee, and Marybeth Tanguay of Faithorn; grandchildren Brynn Schultz,
Patrick (Donna) Tanguay, and Kurt (Amy) Tanguay; great grandchildren Madelynn,
Easton and Ella Schultz, Shane and Paul Swanson and Cooper Tanguay; brother Jim
(Diane) Harris; many nieces and nephews; special friends Margaret Conery-Menza
and Gloria Brault.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Peter
Tanguay and sister June Rohoi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday,
January 3 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Wednesday morning at St.
Barbara’s Church with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis presiding.
Interment will be
held at the Norway Township Cemetery in the spring.
