LOUIS "BIG LOU" PELLEGRINI, AGE 88, OF NORWAY, PASSED AWAY ON MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 26th IN WALLACE, MICHIGAN
(Norway - February 26, 2018) - Louis “Big Lou” Pellegrini, age 88,
of Norway, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Rivers Breeze Adult Care
Home in Wallace, Michigan.
He was born on May 1, 1929 in Norway the son
of the late Cipriano and Mary (Calcaterra) Pellegrini.
Patricia Bronczyk on August 16, 1958 in St. Mary’s Church in Norway. She
preceded him in death on July 23, 1996.
He served his country in the U.S.
Army during the Korean Conflict in the #369 Engineers.
Louie worked for
the City of Norway for over 25 years in the street department.
He was a
member of St. Mary’s Church, the Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit Council #9523,
and the Norway-Vulcan Civic Club. He loved farming, hunting, going to camp and
the Detroit Lions.
Louie is survived by his daughter Lisa (Scott)
Wangerin of Wallace; grandchildren Andy (Kelly McGarth) Steeno, Neal Steeno,
Allysa (Marty Defatte) Steeno, Stacey (Matt) Swanson and Matt (Kayla Boettcher)
Wangerin; great grandchildren Brennan and Saige Swanson; sisters-in-law Janice
Pellegrini, Pat Pellegrini, Mary Bronczyk, and Rose Bronczyk; many nieces and

Family will greet friends on Saturday, March 3 from
10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.
Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 PM at St. Barbara’s Church with Fr.
Timothy Ekaitis presiding.
